Subtle and dramatic changes in the bays, ocean and on the beach that I see each day, are my subject and my fascination. What I experience on eastern Long Island is not so much a “landscape” but rather the force of nature, always at work. What looks peaceful, idyllic and beautiful, is really the surface effect of a profound shifting of the earth, the tides, and the seasons.
